Dear Parishioners:
Today we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family. The Church teaches that the family is the “domestic Church,” the place where we first encounter God’s love. True love requires sacrifice, forgiveness, time, and effort. Many years ago, the Knights of Columbus sent out posters to every parish in the United States. The poster was a picture of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. The caption read: “The family: it’s work but it can be a work of art.” Make your family a work of art!
A parishioner sent this in the mail recently, and I thought you might like it.
