Dear Parishioners:
I would like to thank everyone who made this Holy Week so special. The Holy Week liturgies require a great deal of time and effort. In a special way, we would like to thank:
+ Our Music Ministers: Choirs, Organists, Leaders of Song, and Accompanists
+ Our Liturgical Ministers: Deacons, Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Experience the liberating grace of the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Penance). Confessions
ushers and Knights of the Altar and St. Joan of Arc Club. will be available in every Catholic Church in the Diocese of Rockville Centre.
+ Our Liturgical Decorating Committee: a small army of volunteers, who transformed our Church.
+ Our Youth Group who led us in a very moving Living Stations of the Cross, under the leadership of Mary Morrison and Tina Logan.
+ Our OCIA team under the leadership of Becky Reilly who have helped our converts in their journey.
With the advent of spring, we also celebrate the advent of First Holy Communions. For the next three (3) Sundays (April 19th, 26th & May 3rd), we will be celebrating First Communions at the 10:30 AM & 12:00 PM Masses. I ask for your prayers for the children and for their families. We pray that First Holy Communion will be the beginning of a lifetime of faithful reception of Jesus at holy Mass.
Remember: Together, we can do something beautiful for God.
