Dear Parishioners, Once again, snowy greetings from the rectory. I hope you weathered our recent snowstorms! This past Tuesday, we celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. As part of that celebration, we celebrated Mass and led the worshippers in an Act of Consecration. What is an Act of Consecration? An Act of Consecration…
Dear Parishioners: Cold, chilly greetings on Super Bowl Sunday! I am hoping that it will finally warm up; I can’t recall it being this cold for such a long time. It is a big change from the warmer winters we have had in the recent past few years. As you also know, this coming Friday…
Dear Parishioners: Last week throughout the Diocese, we celebrated Catholic Schools Week. Here at St Patrick, we are extremely blessed to have a parish Catholic school. As you may know, some Catholic schools have closed over the years. Catholic schools are so different from when I was in Catholic elementary school. Stop by and check…

This feast is also often referred to as “Little Christmas.” In Europe, traditionally this is the day in which gifts are exchanged because this is the day the Wise Men,…

True love requires sacrifice, forgiveness, time, and effort. Many years ago, the Knights of Columbus sent out posters to every parish in the United States. The…
Dear Parishioners: This weekend, we light the pink or rose candle on the Advent wreath. This signifies a change in Advent. While the first two weeks of Advent focused on the coming of Christ at the end of time, we now turn our focus to the coming of Christ at Christmas. This Sunday is often…
Dear Parishioners, Well, believe it or not, Thanksgiving is now over, and we are getting set for Christmas. But before we celebrate Christmas, I would strongly encourage everyone to enjoy and celebrate Advent. In many ways, we have lost the season of Advent to the secular forces focusing on Christmas. I would suggest that a…
