Various events around our Community.
Various activities for youth throughout the year!
Situated on 19 beautiful acres in Smithtown, St. Patrick School provides a Catholic Education for approximately 500 students in Nursery through Eighth Grade. The school adheres to New York State/Common Core Learning Standards and guidelines provided by the Diocese of Rockville Centre.
In the past, I have asked those who would like to do so to contribute to our fund for the school that helps families that are struggling. There are many families who are struggling with sickness and other problems that are draining their financial resources. They call me with love and hope for their children. They love St. Patrick's School and see it as a wonderful place to have their children educated in a Catholic atmosphere.
The current faculty and administration have developed a spirit of faith, hope, and love, a spirit many financially strapped parents want very much for their children. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
Are you interested in becoming Catholic? Do you need to complete the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation?) Do you need to be baptized? Do you have a child who has passed his/her seventh birthday without being baptized? Do you have a child who has passed confirmation age without being confirmed?
St. Patrick’s parishioners routinely help families who are struggling financially at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter by providing holiday meals, Christmas gifts and Easter baskets. Unfortunately, economic hardship is a year-round phenomenon. Summer is a tough time for food pantries, including our own.
Learn more about your faith! This summer, our Adult Faith Formation program will offer “Hebrew Scriptures,” a Basic Theology Course.
Wednesdays 7:00-9:00pm, Jul 19 - Aug 16
Churches now routinely offer online giving for church donations. There are many reasons for this. Fewer people are using cash and checks. Mass attendance at your home parish is usually interrupted by vacations, business trips, illness, snow storms, etc. and many people find it easier (and greener) to not have to deal with church envelopes.
Donations of school supplies and gift certificates for new school clothes will be gratefully accepted at Parish Outreach.
Would you like to become a more active member of our parish, learn more about your faith, have your own faith grow?
